Friday (4/22): I'm grateful for horse-drawn carriage rides, meals shared with family, continued generosity from our loved ones, and cool compresses for hot foreheads.
Saturday (4/23): I'm grateful for medical counsel, fun had with family, and the opportunity to observe/enjoy the various activities of a 2.5 year old.
Sunday (4/24): I'm grateful that Grace was awake at the same crazy hours of the morning I was, and that we were both able to enjoy naps throughout the day. I'm grateful that Mimi (my mom) was willing and able to keep Addie (today and Monday) and that Addie was so pleased with that arrangement.
Monday (4/25): I'm grateful for the book that a friend shared/lent to me to read in the hospital... and even more grateful that it accidentally happened to be the very book I'd left at home! I'm also grateful that Grace was discharged from the hospital and that we were able to drive home.
Tuesday (4/26): I'm grateful for Grace's much-improved spirits; I think she is much happier than she's been in a long time!
Wednesday (4/27): I'm grateful for showers.
Thursday (4/28): I'm grateful for naps and the forethought I had to put Grace in her own bed before I fell asleep so I could sleep longer if Addie needed something (because she did, but Grace slept on!).
